The Brookfield Show, the biggest, little country show around amazed and delight show-goers across from 22 – 24 May 2026 held at the Brookfield Showground. The historic annual Show is organised by not-for-profit Brookfield Show Society. The Show has been held, in various iterations, for 115 years. More information can be found here.

This year the Show is opening on Friday afternoon at 3pm – something it always used to do!
Local horse riders will still have our fabulous District Day on the Friday, with a full suite of events scheduled. For non-horse riders, the 3pm still allows for a perfect afternoon and evening at the Show, with Competition pavilions open and entertainment kicking off. Rodeo, live music and more will still be occuring Friday. Full entertainment information found here.
Saturday and Sunday opening times remain at 9am. Please click here for full opening and close times.
The Show Society is continually reviewing how to best run the Show, hence why the shift back to a 3pm Friday opening. Balancing patron expectations with the realities of being financially responsible and complying with increasing red tape is an ongoing task. Thanks for your understanding.

Family Shield
Families have the opportunity to pool their winnings and places across Competitions entries again in 2026!
If more than one person in your family is a budding artist, green thumb, baker or carver, you may be in for a chance to have your name engraved on the Family Shield and enjoy the accolades!
The family with the highest achievements is the winning family of the year, announced after the Show.
