Brookfield Horse Schedule 2024

Brookfield is proudly an inclusive event and this year we will again by holding Disabled Rider classes in Friday’s district programme. These events cater for riders of varying abilities and thanks to our generous sponsor One Track Care, no rider goes home without a prize.

We are pleased to continue Saturday’s new feature event for the second year running, THE ELAINE COLQUHOUN MEMORIAL SMARTEST ON PARADE, which will be open to Small and Large Ponies, Galloways and Hacks. With prize money of 1st $200, 2nd $150, 3rd $100, 4th $75, 5th $50, 6th $25, plus rosettes and a perpetual trophy, we are hoping to attract many competitors to this prestigious event.

We are excited to introduce Off The Track show jumping classes, as well as a Hack class, to Saturday’s events. This is a wonderful opportunity for riders with retired race horses to compete in these specialised classes at Brookfield.

The highlight of Sunday’s programme will be the Megan MacNicol Supreme Showjumper.
This is awarded to the individual horse / rider combination scoring the highest number of points over Saturday & Sunday’s jumping events, excluding unofficial and junior events. The winning combination receives $750, plus a gift voucher to the value of $500 donated by Robert White Jewellers.

We look forward to running this year’s show under blue skies and to welcoming competitors, old and new!

A big thank-you goes to our key sponsors, MacNicol Family, Brendan Murphy Construction, Dalara Pastoral, Brookies Rural Traders, WestVets, Robert White Jewellers and Consolidated Property Group for their ongoing support. We have many other sponsors as well, whom we also thank for their contribution, as seen within the Schedule.
