Welcome to the 2026 Children’s and Teen Art Competition!

Our 2026 Theme is “Nature is Beautiful”.

This year, we’re inviting our young artists—kids and teens alike—to pick up their pencils, paintbrushes, or anything creative, and show us their version of Nature is Beautiful

Beauty can be found in the tiniest details—a glistening dewdrop, a buzzing bee—or in the vastness of the forests around our city. It might include the magic of plants flowering, the wind blowing, the rain falling, animals and birds, what you see as you look around you. Whether it’s real, remembered, or completely made up, we want to see the beauty of nature through your eyes.

Let your creativity shine and help us discover or even rediscover the beauty of nature in the little things and the big things around us.

There are four age divisions.

Children’s divisions: Kindy – Year 2 and Year 3 – Year 6.
Teen divisions: Year 7 – Year 9 and Year 10 – Year 12

There will be prizes, and ribbons for Best In Show, Best in Show Runner Up, as well as 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners for each age group.

ENTRY IS ONLINE ONLINE, VIA THE FORM BELOW.
Entries close: strictly at 5pm Friday 15th of May 2026.
Art Drop-Off: 10am to 2pm Saturday 16th May 2026 to Apex building annexe, Brookfield Showground.
Art Collection: all participants can pick-up art 10:30am to 2:30pm on Monday 25th of May 2026
